Our Collective Impact for UNICEF
Thank you for tuning in to Gabby’s Dollhouse and casting your vote. We are THRILLED to share that because of your support, Dreamworks has provided UNICEF with the funding that could enable them to deliver supplies such as 338,700 packets of therapeutic food to severely malnourished children, 43,539 backpacks full of educational resources to help kids continue learning during crises and 24,493 blankets or winter supplies to keep children warm when disaster strikes.
Talking to your Child about Our Impact
RUTF Paste (ready-to-use therapeutic food) is a life-saving essential supply item for children under five years old, who have not had access to enough food, or quality food. It has as high nutritional value allowing malnourished children to gain weight quickly, a two-year shelf life, an appealing taste and easy digestibility, and no need for preparation - children eat it directly from the packet.
Backpacks, notebooks, No. 2 pencils, binders, calculators, new sneakers. Kids across the U.S. eagerly cross those items off their back-to-school shopping lists. But in many parts of the world, families can't afford backpacks—or the things that go in them. In some countries, schools are so underfunded students must learn sitting on the ground.
Thermal fleece blankets can help keep babies snug and warm especially during the cold seasons. We are able to supply these blankets to babies and children in hospitals, day-care centers and shelters. A blanket is a gift to a child that can help them feel safe.
